ECAP 6: Sixth European Congress of Analytic Philosophy

General Information

ECAP-congresses are organized every three years by the European Society for Analytic Philosophy, ESAP. The aim of the congresses is to establish contacts and encourage collaboration among European analytic philosophers. The previous conferences took place in 1993 (ECAP 1 in Aix en Provence), 1996 (ECAP 2 in Leeds), 1999 (ECAP 3 in Maribor), 2002 (ECAP 4 in Lund) and 2005 (ECAP 5 in Lisboa).

The Sixth ECAP was organized in Krakow by the Institute of Philosophy of the Jagiellonian University, the Polish Society for Logic and the Philosophy of Science and the Polish Academy of Sciences.

The official language of the Congress was English.

The Congress was held under the honorary auspices of the Speaker of the Sejm of the Republic of Poland Bronisław Komorowski and the President of Krakow Jacek Majchrowski.
